Co worker recommended ordering from here so I kept it simple pork fried rice with chicken wings surprisingly it was delicious rice was flavorful and didn't need any sauce and chicken was fried to perfection!!! Only downside is no delivery and cash only business. But I would definitely order from here again!!!

Okay, after 7 hours in the ER at Bport hospital we were starving so we decided to get some take out on the way home. We weren't familiar with the area, so we just did a search on our phone and found Peking Garden. Once we found the restaurant, my first thought was that the 5 stars must have been a joke. It's in a very scary neighborhood, and you can't (or wouldn't want to) eat there, but the food was fantastic! BEST CHINESE TAKE OUT EVER! We didn't have a menu, when we called in our order, so we stuck with basics, egg rolls, lo mein, chicken & cashews and wonton soup. Everything was chock full of meats and vegis. The soup was a plastic container stuffed with wontons with some broth poured in afterwards. From now on, if we're in BPort, it's our new take out restaurant.

OMG! This is my chinese resteraunt. If I want chinese... I go here. The menu is taped onto my fridge, lol. The food isn't expensive, very generous portions, and I've never recieved a bad dish. It's not in the bad part of town, we don't live in the 'ghetto', it's on a rican street mixed with jamaicans, asians, and the brazilians, with maybe a portuguese person sprinkled here and there. They've updated their menu with skewers, donuts, and they have homemade teas. It's simply mouth watering. :) What can I say, they have to be good, I go there enough times that they know me. The guy manning the register knows a bit of spanish too.

This is the spot to hit whenever you are in BPT! -Yes it's a whole in the wall -Yes it's in the ghetto -Yes it does not look that fancy -Yes they got nicer spots in CT -Yes, yes, yes, yes... But Peking Gardens or as we call it Michelle's - for the simple reason that back in the days a girl used to work here called Michelle's, and that's why we say "Let's goto Michelle's - is the place to go for all of us that lived on Jane Street in '98 till present. This little spot with great Chinese food has been visited by people from all over the States (CA, TX, WA, DC, IL, AZ, NV etc.) folks from Mexico, Holland, and the UK have tasted there items. This place will not disappoint you I guarantee! From their Chicken Wings to the Pu Pu Plater, the Plantains to the Shrimp Fried Rice, the Sweet and Sour Chicken to the Egg roll I know you will find your favorite meal here in the middle of East Main, BPT My dish is the boneless ribs w/ pork fries rice, or the garlic chicken wings... just come down and try it for yourself.
